A bit of explanation: This is way in the future when Nick is approximately 104. The woman on the right is Miss Olivia Donovan. She was just a random girl who Cassius chose as a meal. Nick tried to save her, but failed and was turned into a vampire. Due to the violent nature of her death, she was stuck roaming the Earth as a ghost who only Nick and Cassius can see. She chooses to follow Nick around later in his life, and is very disappointed with what he has let himself become. Lawrence was killed recently, and he accepted death willingly. His wife had already died of natural causes, and he felt that he had lived a full life. However, he gets stuck as a ghost and watches over Nick, since Nick is still screwing his life up. 

Note: Vampires don't age in this universe. The reason Lawrence has grey hair is because he dyed it so that his wife wouldn't feel as bad about getting old, and kept doing it even after her death out of habit.
